/// OVERVIEW

What is
MoneroEx?

MoneroEx is a crypto swap service designed to convert BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, and other assets into Monero (XMR). You provide a destination XMR wallet address — we route the swap with privacy-focused infrastructure.

01

Non-custodial architecture

Funds route through the swap process without being held on our platform beyond the transaction duration.

02

Account-free standard flow

Standard swaps proceed without registration or identity collection for typical transaction amounts.

03

Privacy-focused routing

Our infrastructure is designed to reduce unnecessary data exposure at each step of the swap.

/// PROCESS

How It Works

01

01

Select Your Pair

Choose from supported assets — BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC to XMR, or XMR to BTC.

02

02

Enter Destination

Provide your XMR wallet address. This is where your Monero will be delivered.

03

03

Send Funds

Transfer the specified amount to the deposit address shown. Wait for network confirmations.

04

04

Receive XMR

Once confirmations complete, XMR arrives at your wallet. Track status in real time.

/// PROTOCOL

Why Monero?

Privacy by Default

Every Monero transaction is private at the protocol level — not an optional setting.

Confidential Amounts

Transaction amounts are hidden by default using RingCT cryptography.

Reduced Public Exposure

Converting to XMR reduces your traceable on-chain history on transparent blockchains.

Ring Signatures

Transaction origins are mixed among multiple possible signers, obscuring the source.

Stealth Addresses

Monero generates one-time addresses for each transaction, preventing address linking.

True Fungibility

All XMR units are interchangeable — no tainted or blacklisted coins exist.

/// INFRASTRUCTURE

Privacy &
Security

Account-Free Standard Flow

Standard swaps proceed without registration or identity collection for typical transaction amounts.

Non-Custodial Architecture

Funds are routed through the swap without being held on our platform beyond the swap duration.

Destination Wallet Control

You always specify and control the destination wallet. Funds are delivered to your address.

Privacy-Focused Routing

Our infrastructure is designed to reduce unnecessary data exposure at each step.

Transaction Status Visibility

Track the status of your swap without exposing full transaction details publicly.

Risk Checks Where Required

Certain flows may require additional review. We aim to keep this process transparent.

Get XMR delivered to your wallet without going through a KYC exchange flow for standard amounts.

06

Reducing On-Chain Footprint

Convert multiple assets to XMR to consolidate into a single privacy-preserving holding.

All swaps are subject to applicable regulations and our terms of service. MoneroEx does not guarantee anonymity or specific legal outcomes. Certain transactions may require additional review.

What Is a Monero Swap?

A Monero swap is a process where you send one cryptocurrency — such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, or a stablecoin — and receive Monero (XMR) in return. Unlike a traditional exchange that holds your funds in an account, a swap service routes your assets directly through the conversion process and delivers XMR to the wallet address you specify.

At a high level, the process works as follows: you select a swap pair (for example, BTC to XMR), enter the amount you want to convert and your destination Monero address, then receive a deposit address for your source asset. Once your funds are sent and confirmed on the source blockchain, the swap executes and XMR is delivered to your address.

An account-free swap flow means you can complete a standard swap without creating a username, providing an email address, or setting a password. You interact with the service using only your swap ID and destination address.

Why Convert BTC, ETH, USDT, or LTC to XMR?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and most stablecoins operate on transparent blockchains where transaction amounts, sender addresses, and recipient addresses are publicly recorded. Converting to Monero may help reduce on-chain exposure, since Monero's protocol applies privacy-preserving techniques to all transactions by default.

Monero uses ring signatures to obscure the sender, stealth addresses to protect the recipient, and Ring Confidential Transactions (RingCT) to hide transaction amounts. These are protocol-level properties that apply automatically.

Fungibility is another consideration. Monero's design aims to make all units interchangeable, without visible history attached to individual coins.

How Privacy-Focused Swaps Differ from Centralized Exchange Flows

A standard swap on MoneroEx does not require account registration for typical transaction amounts. You do not create a profile, verify an email, or link personal details to your transaction. For standard swaps, the account-free model means your transaction is not associated with a persistent user account in the service's records.

MoneroEx uses a destination address model rather than an account balance model. Your funds are not pooled in an exchange wallet — the swap completes and the funds are delivered to your address. This non-custodial routing means the service does not maintain a balance on your behalf.

What to Check Before Sending Funds

  • Verify your destination XMR address by copying it directly from your wallet. Confirm the full address string.
  • Check the minimum swap amount for your selected pair. Amounts below the minimum may not be processed.
  • Review the network fee for your source asset before sending. Low fees may result in slow confirmation times.
  • Note the estimated time for completion. Swap duration depends on source blockchain confirmation speeds.
  • Confirm the pair is currently supported. Available pairs and limits can change.

Why Destination Address Accuracy Matters

Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design. If funds are sent to an incorrect destination address — whether because of a copy-paste error, a clipboard hijack, or any other reason — they cannot be recovered.

Monero addresses are 95 characters long in standard format and 97 characters for subaddresses. Always copy the address directly from your Monero wallet software, and verify the complete string before submitting. Do not rely on checking only the beginning and end of the address.
